Injury
Management and Rehabilitation (IMR) has enjoyed solid growth since
it began operations in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney in 1997 under
the trading name of Injury Management Consultants (IMC). The name
change
to IMR took place in February 2002 as the business entered an exciting
new phase of development.
When the business commenced as IMC in 1997, Dawn Piebenga, IMR’s
Managing Director, was the sole consultant. She traveled Sydney-wide
and even into country NSW providing Occupational rehabilitation
and
medico-legal reports to clients that are proudly still using IMR’s
services today.
As Dawn’s reputation for quality work grew in demand, she sought
out Sydney’s finest consultants to help her provide the level
of service both she and her clients expected.
In late 2000 IMC engaged its first employees and today IMR has more
than 20 support, clinical and consultant team members servicing
greater Sydney. IMR remains a privately owned Australian company
dedicated to its clients.
IMR services many different industries including hospitality, heavy
manufacturing, telecommunications, surgical, mushroom picking, the
defence force and a major supermarket chain.
IMR has three offices. IMR's Alexandria and
Lindfield offices service the Sydney metropolitan area and it's
Wollongong office services the Illawarra region, from Sutherland in
the north to Nowra in the south.
